2024年4月23日，中-意商会与意大利驻广州总领事馆合作举办的“地震保护和文化遗产价值评估技术”会议在广州召开。中心郝洪院士受邀率团出席了此次会议，郝洪院士做了题为《An Overview of Protection Technologies of Heritage Structures against Extreme Dynamic Loading》的学术报告，建筑学院周炼副教授做了题为《An Exciting Dilemma: a New Stage to Conserve Guangzhou Modern Architectural Heritage》的学术报告。会议交流气氛热烈，报告受到了各方一致好评。
